Safety Audit, Risk Analysis, On Site Emergency Plan & Hazop Study

The HAZOP study is a procedure to identify hazards in a chemical process facility. HAZOP study requires a team composed of experienced plant personals from Mechanical, Instrumentation, Production, Electrical and safety department. Leader should be experienced with HAZOP procedure and the chemical process under review. One person is assigned the task for recording the discussions and result. HAZOP study is carried out with the help of P&I diagram and certain guide words. It also requires use of large investment in time and efforts.
